About Malcolm Sheppard

Malcolm Sheppard is a highly experienced accounting professional with over 40 years’ experience in the provision of advisory and assurance services to a broad range of entities and industries.

Malcolm served his Articles of Clerkship with Ernst & Young in Johannesburg and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1973. He left practice and spent six years in banking and a further 10 years in the construction industry. Malcolm joined the company as a partner in 1993. The areas in which Malcolm specialises are auditing, accounting, acquisitions & disposals, business advising and management buyouts.

Respected for his ability to understand his clients’ business and accounting requirements, while being proactive in meeting their deadlines and identifying ways to add value to their business.

His expertise lies in understanding the requirements and needs of business owners and stakeholders and tailoring and delivering high quality service and advice to meet their objectives.

Malcolm enjoys working with high growth business.  Malcolm provides assistance as businesses contemplate and undertake acquisition and divestment transactions as well as capital raisings.

His research into changes within the Non-Profit sector ensures that his clients receive the best possible outcome, based off timely and proactive sharing of information.

His broad industry experience coupled with his strong analytical skills have been invaluable when working with Boards and Management to implement risk management and business improvement strategies.
