Marge Beaurain

Marge Beaurain has over 20 years’ experience in the accounting, auditing and taxation environment. She specialises in pension and provident fund audits, deceased estate administration, monthly accounting and management accounts.

Marge joined our firm in 1995 as a trainee audit clerk after obtaining her B-Com degree at Wits University. She completed her Articles of Clerkship and gained valuable hands-on experience in our audit, tax, accounting and VAT departments post articles.

She left the practice in 2002 and spent the next few years in commerce, working for one of the big four banks and later as financial manager at an international mining company.

Marge re-joined our firm in 2008. Working under the guidance of Malcolm Sheppard, they set up the newly formed pension and provident fund audit department.

Marge has a passion for financial accounting and enjoys assisting her monthly clients with processing of accounts, preparation of management accounts and submission of VAT, PAYE and other statutory returns.

Respected for her ability to understand her clients’ business and financial requirements, she is always available to assist with any queries that they may have. Marge enjoys interacting face-to-face with her clients whether at our HLB office or across town at her client’s office.

In 2018 she took on the additional role of Deceased Estates manager when her predecessor retired after several years in the position. Marge has the utmost compassion and empathy when dealing with relatives and family when winding up the deceased estate of a loved one.
