Dee Bezuidenhout

Dee served her Articles of Clerkship at Prangleys and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1994. She was made a partner of Prangleys in 1997. Dee specialises in large company audits, management consulting, personal and corporate taxation.

Personal interests:

Birding, wildlife, outdoor activities and fly-fishing.



Peter Chown

Peter served his Articles of Clerkship at Spencer Steward (now BDO Spencer Steward) and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1983. During that year he joined the Copalcor Group of Companies (Haggie Group) and was appointed Financial Director of various subsidiaries. In 1990 he started an auditing practise specialising in management consulting to small and medium sized companies. Today his specialities are BEE acquisitions and consulting, management consulting, auditing, accounting, taxation and BEE verification.

Personal interests:

Golf, fishing, cycling and SED projects.



Malcolm Sheppard

Malcolm served his Articles of Clerkship with Ernst & Young in Johannesburg and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1973. He left practice and spent six years in banking and a further 10 years in the construction industry. Malcolm joined the practice as a partner in 1993. The areas in which Malcolm specialises are auditing, accounting, acquisitions & disposals, business advising and management buyouts.

Personal interests:

Fishing, gym and golf.



Lee Harvey

Lee served her Articles of Clerkship at HLB Barnett Chown Inc. and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2008. She was made a partner of HLB Barnett Chown Inc. in 2011.

Wildlife and outdoor activities.
